About the founder

Published August 22, 2026

I'm Hayden Westerfield, (jumjum) the founder of CSFolio.
I have participated in the Counter-Strike skin market for about five years, and I have personally bought and sold more than $100,000 worth of skins up to this point.

I built CSFolio after experiencing how fragmented the market can be, and how I knew I could get more out of it. Traders often need one service for market listings, another for price research, separate portfolio tools, and external conversations to arrange more flexible deals.

CSFolio is my attempt to bring those pieces together in a marketplace built around how active traders actually operate.

Why I built CSFolio

Why I built CSFolio

I wanted a platform free of the normal restrictions that p2p platforms have. I'm tired of having to rely on trust to complete partial trades, or use extensions to find out the true value of an item. CSFolio is entirely built on the core values of freedom, and accessibility, and utility to the user.. Its not designed to be profitable to me.

That means focusing on:

  • direct user-to-user Steam delivery;

  • clearly disclosed CSFolio fees and transaction costs;

  • flexible listings, offers, and item-plus-cash trades;

  • portfolio and market-research tools in the same service;

  • documented rules for delivery, holds, reversals, and disputes; and

  • honest communication about what CSFolio can and cannot control.

CSFolio is not meant to hide behind an anonymous brand. I am responsible for the direction of the product, and I want users to know who is building it.

Built from a trader's perspective

Built from a trader's perspective

I approach CSFolio as someone who has personally dealt with the practical problems traders encounter, comparing prices across services, evaluating unusual items, managing trade holds, watching fees reduce proceeds, and deciding whether a platform's convenience is worth its cost. My experience comes from roughly five years in the market and more than $100,000 in personal buying and selling activity.

That experience shapes the product, but it does not make CSFolio infallible. The platform will continue to improve through careful testing, transparent policies, user reports, and direct feedback from the community.

Trust should be verifiable

A founder page is only one part of earning trust. Users should also be able to verify how the service operates.

CSFolio publishes its marketplace rules, payment policy, privacy policy, and terms of service. Fees are disclosed before confirmation where the platform controls the quote. Steam trades should always be checked carefully, and CSFolio support will never ask for a password, Steam Guard code, payment-card details, or identity document through an ordinary support message.

CSFolio LLC is a Missouri limited liability company. CSFolio is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam.
