Seller fees directly affect how much of a CS2 skin’s sale price reaches the seller, but the advertised percentage is not always the complete cost. Membership charges, withdrawal fees, payment processing, currency conversion, private-sale rates, item-liquidity rules, and geographic availability can all change the result.
We checked the linked official fee pages on September 13, 2026. This article is published by CSFolio, one of the services compared. Advertised commission, subscription costs and withdrawal charges are shown separately; verify the live quote before transacting.
Two examples including monthly membership
At $1,000 in completed monthly sales, CSFolio Free leaves $990 after its 1% seller commission. Buying Advanced monthly for those sales leaves $970.01 after the $29.99 membership. At $5,000, Free leaves $4,950 and Advanced leaves $4,970.01. These examples exclude payout, processing, conversion and tax costs and assume identical sale prices.

This example does not establish the total cost of using any service. A seller should also consider membership price, achievable sale price, liquidity, payout method, withdrawal charges, exchange rates, taxes, and the probability and speed of a completed sale.
CSFolio’s Free plan charges a 1% CSFolio seller fee. Advanced costs $29.99 monthly or $299.99 yearly, while Lifetime is a $439.99 one-time purchase. Eligible Advanced and Lifetime sellers pay a 0% CSFolio seller fee.
That structure gives occasional sellers a low percentage fee without requiring a subscription, while frequent sellers can compare the membership price with their expected fee savings. Processing and payout costs remain separate from the CSFolio seller fee.
For example, compared only with CSFolio’s own 1% Free seller fee, a $29.99 monthly Advanced membership reaches its simple seller-fee break-even point at approximately $2,999 in completed monthly sales. Advanced also includes product features beyond the fee waiver, so fee savings are not its only potential value.
Sale price and liquidity
A lower commission does not help if an item must be listed substantially below the price available elsewhere or if there are too few buyers. Compare realistic completed-sale prices and market activity, not just the headline fee.
Membership costs
A subscription-based 0% seller fee can be efficient for an active seller and inefficient for someone making one small sale. Estimate expected monthly sales before choosing a paid tier.
Withdrawals and currency conversion
Some marketplaces charge a withdrawal fee directly. Payment providers and banks may also charge for routing, receiving, cross-border settlement, or converting USD into another currency. These costs can vary by country and payout method.
Public and private sale rates
A private-sale fee is not directly comparable to a public-marketplace fee. Private listings generally require the seller to find or already know the buyer, while a public listing can be discovered by the marketplace’s audience.
Item-specific rates
DMarket states that its CS2 seller fee can vary with item liquidity. Skinport offers a reduced public rate for qualifying high-tier items. Always inspect the quote for the actual item.
